A very traditional item to include in still life paintings is some form of a vessel. Here, I've taken the idea of a vessel and told it through many forms. We have the literal, in the vase, bowl, or cup, and we have the figurative like our bodies - represented by the dumbbell. Also included is the idea of a vessel as a space, represented by the cityscape in the background.
